How our tours work
Private, and Priced by the Vehicle
The same three rules apply to every tour on this page.

| Pickup | At your hotel in Asunción, at the time the tour needs |
| Guides | Bilingual driver-guide on the city tour; English-speaking driver on request for the rest |
| To reserve | 30% deposit · card, transfer, digital wallet or crypto · balance on the day |
| Cancellation | Free up to 24 hours before the tour |
| Not included | Park entrances, meals and optional activities, on every tour |

Choosing
Which Tour Fits Your Trip
Four situations that cover most people who write to us.
- One free day
Iguazu Falls day tour
The single most requested trip from Asunción, and the only way to see the falls and be back the same night.
- A weekend
Iguazu Falls 2-day tour
The same trip, but without the eleven-hour night drive and with the last two hours in the park, which are the quietest. Hotel and breakfast included.
- Half a day
Asunción city tour
If you are in town for a conference or a layover, five hours covers the historic centre, the river and the viewpoints.
- Something different
Jesuit ruins or a scenic flight
Trinidad and Jesús are the best-preserved Jesuit reductions in the region. The panoramic flight is thirty minutes that reframe the whole city.
Not sure which side of the falls to visit? The comparison of the Brazilian and Argentinian sides answers that, and how to get there from Asunción covers the four ways to travel.
The fleet
The Vehicle Follows the Group
Same fleet as our transfers, maintained for the distances Paraguay actually involves.
| Vehicle | Capacity | Luggage |
|---|---|---|
| Sedan | 1–3 passengers | 3 suitcases |
| Minivan Hyundai H1 | up to 7 passengers | 1 per passenger |
| Mercedes Sprinter | 8–14 passengers | 1 per passenger |
With one to three passengers the sedan price applies even if you travel in the minivan. All vehicles are air-conditioned, and on the long tours the driver stays with you the whole day.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything worth knowing before you book a tour with us.
What tours do you offer from Asunción?
Five: the Iguazu Falls in one day, the Iguazu Falls over two days with a hotel included, the Asunción city tour, the Jesuit Missions ruins in Itapúa, and a panoramic flight over Asunción. All of them are private, with your own vehicle and driver.
Are the tours private or shared?
Private, all of them. There are no other passengers, no fixed group departure and no waiting for anyone to reassemble. The schedule is built around you, within whatever the destination's opening hours require.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. A sedan or minivan covers one to three passengers at the listed price, and each additional passenger adds a fixed amount — USD 69 on the Iguazu day tour, USD 97 on the two-day version, USD 49 on the city tour. That is what makes a private tour competitive for couples and families.
How much is the cheapest tour?
The Asunción city tour at USD 147 for up to three passengers, about five hours with a bilingual driver-guide. The panoramic flight is USD 297 total for up to three. The Iguazu day tour starts at USD 697 per vehicle.
Do the tours include entrance tickets?
No. Park entrances are paid at each gate and meals are not included, except on the Jesuit Missions tour, where the guide and both entrance tickets are in the price. We say so on each page rather than leaving it as a surprise on the day.
Do you have English-speaking guides?
The city tour includes a bilingual driver-guide in Portuguese and English. On the other tours we assign an English-speaking driver when you ask for one at the time of booking, so it is planned rather than improvised.
Do I need a credit card to book?
No, a credit card is not required. To confirm your reservation we only require a 30% deposit, which can be paid via credit card, wire transfer, digital wallet, or crypto. The remaining 70% is paid on the day of the tour.
How far in advance should I book?
For the Iguazu tours and for larger groups, as early as you can — we run our own fleet and availability is finite. For the city tour a day's notice is usually enough. If you need something for tomorrow, write anyway; we often can.
Can I cancel or change dates?
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the tour. Date changes are usually possible at no cost if you tell us with reasonable notice and we have availability on the new date.
Can you build a custom tour?
Yes. If you want a route we do not list, the by-the-hour service is usually the answer: USD 197 for up to eight hours or USD 127 for four, with the vehicle and driver at your disposal. Tell us what you want to see and we plan it.
Do you pick up from the airport or only from hotels?
Either. Most tours start at your hotel in Asunción, but we can begin at Silvio Pettirossi airport if your schedule works that way. Say so when booking so the timing accounts for it.
What is the best time of year for tours in Paraguay?
April to June and August to October are the most comfortable months: warm rather than hot, with lower humidity. December to March is the rainy season, which means the Iguazu Falls are at their most dramatic but the days are heavy. Everything runs year-round.
Tell Us What You Want to See
